The Grand Hotel, Eastbourne

The Grand lives up to its name. It really is grand and it's almost possible to spend a grand on a room (but not quite).

And, to be fair, the prices, while at the top end for Eastbourne, are not out of place with hotels of this type in the UK.

The hotel has plenty of history and is has attractive accommodation, swimming pools, spa and leisure facilties and a fine location on the Eastbourne seafront.

Best Western Lansdowne Hotel

Imposing large family run hotel in an attractive location overlooking the Western Lawns and sea.

Rooms are fairly generously proportioned and are furnished in an old fashioned style.

The Berkeley Hotel

The Berkeley is that rare beast - an Eastbourne hotel refurbished in a modern style.

The hotel offers simple but attractive rooms at low prices.

The Berkeley is near the sea fron, but set back inland a little on Lascelles Terrace and is very convenient for central Eastbourne attractions such as the Winter Garden Theatre, Devonshire Park Theatre and the Eastbourne International tennis tournament.
